First the plane, then the shinkansen. I thought there would be some other students on the smallest freaking rickety train from a farther JR station, but nope. Just old people. Sleepy smelly old people.

Been dragging my trunk for hours. Never seen so many rice fields in my life. But I think I finally found the right mountain.

What the hell is with this climb up the mountain tradition? Either I'm killing it or there's just no one here except for Karupin. And you can see how helpful she is:

(ooc: Nanjirou is a horribly mean father and instead of telling him about the train that goes straight from Tokyo, told him that all the students get themselves to the foot of the mountain and walk up to show that they're worthy.
